Now known as Downtown Oakland Dental, our practice is still home to the same familiar faces and high-quality care you’ve come to trust. Dr. Victoria Barry (formerly Dr. Louie) is honored to continue Dr. Fong’s legacy while also bringing her own fresh perspective to the future of the practice. Get to know Dr. Barry and the rest of your care team

Dr. Victoria Barry grew up surrounded by dentistry—literally. A third-generation dentist with a DDS from the University of the Pacific, she blends years of education, hands-on training, and personal dental experience to provide care that’s both highly skilled and deeply empathetic. You might remember her as Dr. Louie—she recently got married and is now practicing under her new name, Dr. Barry!

She’s joined by two incredible colleagues: Dr. David Fong, who cared for generations of Oakland families for more than 40 years, and Dr. Jeanette Yu, a kind and detail-oriented provider with over a decade of clinical experience. Together, they make up a team that’s as experienced as it is approachable.

What really makes our practice special is the people. Many of our team members have been here for years—some even decades—and patients love walking into a space where everyone knows their name. We laugh together, we learn together, and we’re genuinely excited to help you feel your best.

Inside the office, you’ll notice we’ve made a few upgrades to match our modern approach to care. Think comfy seating, an espresso station, and big arched windows that bring in natural light. It’s warm, welcoming, and full of life—just like our community.
